The Problem
It’s All Coming Together (IACT) is an innovative organisation, providing a careers portal for the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care System that faced two key problems.
Firstly, their basic and outdated website, didn’t align with the quality service they provided and the general user experience was poor.
Secondly, their brand was lacking a strong identity and needed a refresh to make it as appealing as possible to its audience. There was the added requirement for a brand-new online learning portal too.
Plenty to consider, but we were up for the challenge!
The Solution :
Taking the existing logo as inspiration, we started by crafting an entirely new brand identity for IACT, laying the foundations for an exciting relaunch.
We took that branding and wove it seamlessly into our newly designed website, transforming the user experience and ensuring it became:
- Easy to update with a large set of data, taking it from a simple four-page website to one that can now comfortably host hundreds of pages.
- Able to deliver online learning via a dedicated portal that can host a variety of different content formats to suit all audiences, from written learning sheets to video tutorials.
- Host to brand new features such as an events calendar, user dashboard, resource centre, and a live vacancies page for roles within the NHS
The Result
The days of a basic, hard to navigate website are far behind IACT, as they reap the benefits of their bespoke, new platform:
- The new site is the hub IACT desperately needed – somewhere to signpost users to when out within the community that showcases everything they have to offer as an organization.
- Their strong, identifiable brand increases their visibility, maximizing the impact of their marketing campaigns which, in turn, assists the team towards their goal of illustrating the vast amount of career options available within the NHS.
- The emphasis on user-friendliness is of particular benefit to the areas parts of the site aimed at secondary school children.
- Dynamic user portals allow Academy students to complete quizzes, submit work and have it graded by tutors.
- The team have access to a client dashboard, from which they are able to easily monitor and report on the website user data. This is invaluable for reporting back to the shareholders supporting the project and bid for additional funding.
